Community, Culture, Commerce, and More: A Whole New Approach to Influencer Marketing

If you’re a brand, and you’re yet to delve into the world of influencer partnerships, now’s the time to change your approach to marketing.

With influencer marketing platforms, tech, agencies, and creators plentiful, there is no longer a one size fits all approach when it comes to working with influencers to elevate your brand. This is why Talking Influence is bringing the Influencer Marketing Show New York, to connect and educate stateside brands at a boutique event.

Hosted at New York’s New World Stages on 27th April, you can expect to learn from and network with the greatest names in the influencer marketing space including partners of the show, Mavrck, Awin, Captiv8, Takumi, and Tagger.

One day, countless learnings

Following the launch of the #IMSNYC22 last week, we explored one of the many sessions taking place across two stages during the day. Dontae Mears, Global Head of Influencer Marketing at Depop will be leading a conversation on ‘How to Shape a Media Plan With Influence in Mind’ with plenty of time for your questions on the subject at the end.

When shaping the agenda for the inaugural Influencer Marketing Show NYC, Head of Content, Kate McGregor, knew that it would be important to raise the conversation on influencer marketing and cultural moments. The session ‘How to Create Culture, Not just be a Part of It, With Your Influencer Partnerships’ will be hosted by Director of Cultural Strategy at sparks & honey, Ben Grinspan who will speak on the predicted success that will come to those that create their own cultural moments, and what the starting point is to achieve these with creators.

Another topic that we just couldn’t miss out of the agenda, is, of course, social commerce. Panelists Sarah Henry Head of Content for Influencer, & Commerce at Walmart, Krishna Subramanian CEO and Co-Founder of Captiv8, Ebony Haley. Head of Influencer Marketing at Byte and Sarah Henry, Sr. Director of Content & Influencer Marketing at Walmart will be in conversation debating “Influencing the Retail Revolution”: How Creators and Social Commerce are Reshaping how People Shop”. Attendees of this session can expect to learn how incorporating influencers into your e-commerce strategy can help to drive measurable results.
