Influencer marketing agency The Fifth has just announced the launch of a new diverse, social-first talent management agency, The Fifth Talent. The news follows a successful first year for The Fifth, which continues to grow its international reputation and work with leading brands including TikTok, Lucozade and Marc Jacobs. Born in a journalists’ world as part of News UK, The Fifth has storytelling and storytellers at its core and celebrates diversity across multiple sectors. Therefore, it may come as no surprise that the talent agency will represent those that showcase a unique skill and authentic story in addition to championing change. Those signed will have exclusive access to New UK’s in-house creative and production studios to support multi-media publishing as part of the agency’s mission to elevate the social talent of today into the mainstream talent of tomorrow. The agency will also manage News UK’s content creators and lifestyle journalists, including Sunday Times Style Magazine’s deputy beauty editor

, creating opportunities to partner with brands without compromising their integrity. The specialist team will help talent navigate the commercial world of influencer marketing and identify the right brands to build long-term partnerships that allow them to tell authentic stories.“The Fifth’s ethos is all about putting storytellers at the heart of the business, so there has always been an appetite to expand our offering and get closer to the talent we admire. Over the past year we’ve listened carefully to talents’ challenges and have created a proposition that truly meets their individual needs, rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach to management,” commented Oliver Lewis, founder and managing director at The Fifth Group. Katie Wallwork will head up the new agency as director of talent, having previously led the personal brand division at Social Chain. “As we grow, we’re excited to continue identifying and working with exciting content creators, storytellers and emerging talent across all categories. The team will help talent develop their individual brand narratives, create new formats, as well as supporting their ambitions to expand their channels and reach new territories, and markets,” said Wallwork.

The Fifth has been shortlisted for the Best Large Agency of the Year category at the upcoming Influencer Marketing Awards in London. Book your seat for the awards ceremony now.
