All-in-one influencer marketing platform Mavrck has acquired influencer search SaaS platform GroupHigh for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition will help increase the size of Mavrck’s influencer search index by 10 times as well as enrich the influencer audience data, and enhance blogger and YouTube search capabilities to help marketers connect with influencers at scale. There are also plans in the pipeline to offer an influencer solution tailored for small and midsize businesses (SMBs). Mavrck allows marketers to discover and activate their most impactful influencers to create relevant, inspirational content across social networks and this acquisition follows the platform’s recent updates to help manage influencer marketing fraud. “GroupHigh has built relationships with an impressive cohort of more than nine million bloggers, which is differentiated and complementary to our Influencer Index of social creators and micro-influencers,” said Sean Naegeli, Mavrck co-founder and chief influencer officer. “We’re proud of our accomplishments and contributions to the influencer marketing industry that we’ve led with GroupHigh from the ground up,” said Bill Brennan, GroupHigh co-founder and COO. “Now, with Mavrck’s data discipline, exemplary company culture, and shared long-term vision fully supporting us, we’re looking forward to the next stage of GroupHigh’s evolution.”GroupHigh will continue to operate as its own product, becoming “GroupHigh, a Mavrck Company.” GroupHigh’s founder and CTO will report to Mavrck’s CEO, Lyle Stevens. Mavrck’s roster of clients include P&G, Express and PepsiCo and has offices in Denver, New York and Chicago, meanwhile, GroupHigh has a growing client base of more than 400 companies.
